Breeding Farm Gardens Watering Schedule
SCIMGA Extension Master Gardeners maintain gardens at the historic Henry F. Breeding Farm
located near Edinburgh, IN.
We would like to spread the effort of keeping the gardens watered to more people, and prevent duplication of effort, too, by asking members to sign up for days they can water the gardens.
Watering can be done any day of the week, at your convenience. There are three watering systems to be run each time: (1) there is a hose and sprinkler shared by the Herb, Native and Everlasting gardens, (2) there are hoses and a sprinkler on the east and west sides of the house for the gardens on three sides of the house, and (3) there’s a drip system in the Perennial garden. Instructions for the Perennial garden system can be found at the bottom of this page and at the link to the right.
A walk-through of the watering process can be arranged for members who have the desire to help but haven’t seen the sprinklers in action, just leave a comment in the fillable form below.
Dates already selected will be shown on the calendar.
